Hunt Test Howto - Entries and Premiums, and Event Day Preparation.

Filling out your Hunt Test premium

  • You can either, fill out the entry form that is attached to the premium that came in the mail or you can create a completed form in a word processing software and send it with your entry. Sending in a typed version is the recommended version.
  • If you choose to fill out the attached form be sure to print, or type the entry and include your phone number.
  • If you choose to send in a computer generated form be sure to list their event number and club name at the top.
  • Each day has a separate event number and needs a separate entry form.
  • Each dog needs a separate entry form for each event.
  • Watch for liability policies that may need to signed and submitted with the entry form.
  • Make sure to have the entry submitted to the Hunt Test Secretary by the closing date, if necessary to overnight a package most clubs will ask that you send the package with no signature required.
  • Checks should be payable to the club name
  • If you would like confirmation of your entry you can either send a self stamped post card asking your running order, or most clubs now list the running order on their web sites approx. 1 week prior to the test. Refrain from calling the secretary until you have exhausted all other sources, this is an incredibly busy time for the club secretary.

Preparing for the Hunt Test day
